Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

Give them what they want

that's right...give them what they want. Everyone go in to the office for three days for a few weeks. Overload the system to show the faults. Make it clearly visible to everyone that this isn't going to work. Make it so it isn't productive. If you can't find a place to work, then you're not working and not being productive Come on people, you can do this. Instead of just complaining, put a plan into action.

it is meant for people within commuting distance. It's not rocket science. If you're not within commute distance, you can't do it.....duh.

To the OP - what if you live a couple of hours away and have been remote for close to a decade?

They want the badge swipes to show building occupancy so the IRS doesn't get in their face.

Lol no. Terrible advice.

They dont care about your welfare. They will just pat themselves on the back at how successful RTO is

Dell sold off their extra land in Round Rock so current structure is what they have there. Back when I did go into office, I had to share a desk and alternate days so that there was enough space/desks for everyone.. are we that many people down that we all fit now?
