Depends on your location, much like the minimum of maximum of legislated number of weeks of severance package.

If you’re in Canada you get free healthcare, you know as long as you’re a resident of a specific province you can see a doctor free of charge and he might give you a prescription for your itch in which you will use your Enbridge employee health benefits to pay for that prescription. If you’re a contractor you pay your prescription out of pocket but it’s tax deductible.

If you’re in US you can probably use your Enbridge health insurance for this but get as much ointment for the itch while you’re not yet laid off. Stock up on medicines so you’re fully loaded even if you get laid off.

One of comments here about working more inside might help so kiss more a** as you can, as early as you can so you get promoted and get to switch to more like an office type work. And yes preferably an advisor or specialist will do.

Also, always remember that whatever you’re going through we are here for you. We are all in this together.

I used to work outside and get itches and rashes in that area in the summer heat. I ended up moving inside and became an advisor. No more issues with that.

The union generally gives free STD tests and will assist with home remedies. Feel free to join.
