With news Carbon Black isn’t being spun off and instead is rolling under Symantec, what does this mean for EUC and the sale of that division?

BC interviewed and selected the EUC buyer they would move forward with. They are still working on negotiating and acquisition contract terms. Once an agreement is reached, news will be made public. EUC will need to do some cleanup once they're acquired. Too much bloat in some departments. Overpaid employees due to length of tenure. Weak leadership not focusing on KPI's and setting the wrong example for their teams. If you're a director or above with more than 10 years of tenure, watch out. EUC is very top heavy.
^I disagree with this; overpaid employees aren't necessarily because of tenure. Your tenure usually works against you as new hires over the years come in at HIGHER OTEs, in many cases, HIGHER than you who is the tenured person
When is the letter expected to be issued?
EUC announcement will be in March. 4 bidders right now. Sale will be completed by June.
CB isnt moving under Symantec - more nonsense from people with no knowledge
Looks like everyone in the BU has been briefed they will be merged with Symantec group, no company wide announcement and if you are part of CB and not been informed, then I think you should start getting to office lot more often. I guess…..
EUC employee here. Our manager told us today that Carbon Black is going to be integrated into Symantec and not spun off after all. And it makes sense. See this Broadcom document: https://techdocs.broadcom.com/us/en/symantec-security-software/information-security/information-centric-analytics/6-6/Integration-and-Solution-Accelerator-Guides/carbon_black_importer.html

Alright, enlighten us, Mr. “Only I know it”.
Some transitional employees with direct knowledge leaking info like a sieve…
CB is to be ráped by Hock, the usual.

EUC may be retained as well.
Why? you think nobody is willing to pay the ask?
Read an old post I put out. PE route by end of May. Most managers will be cut and about 5% of sellers will be gone. It is performance driven. I’m going to see trolls comment here but wait and you should see.

Just saying don't count on Broadcom to stay on top of communication
- e.o.m.
There are clues in everyday communication that contradict that sentiment.
something might be cooking, that not communicated yet. Not saying they are not being sold off, or access to any privileged information.
Just saying don't count on Broadcom to stay on top of communication about business plans to employees.
Hey, I know! Let's leak super privileged information to the internet
Yes! F hock
If you think either EUC or CB are not being sold off, you need to pay attention better. There are clues in everyday communication that contradict that sentiment.
Hey, I know! Let's leak super privileged information to the internet and ask a bunch of randos what they think! Genius!
Should hear something by the end of the month.
Nothing? EUC sale will proceed as planned until we hear something different.
