ESD still looking for a competent leader?

Anyone else hearing that DG has lost control of ESD and is making things up as he goes? Similar to other leaders he has brought in his yes men and women and are just doing what he did else where. Directs he hired work remote while the minions “have purposeful presence” in the office, big NY mouth with no ability to back it up.

Continued questions about why the ESD function resides in CM’s org. Cut overhead and move to one technology organization.

DG wanted to do more to benefit employees, specifically he vouched so much for purposeful presence for all, but got in huge conflicts with CM (acting on the orders of JES) that he was defeated.

If the worse you can say about a person is how they dress and that you’re concerned about them laying off the bottom two percent, then that says way more about you than it does about DG.

Worked for TC at GE and now for DG in ESD styles and leadership are very similar. Happy to see as part of the leader goals for 2024 in ESD we have a 10 -15 percent turnover goal. Finally getting rid of this legacy & lazy group in ESD if you are over 3 years and only a successful rating we have our eye on you. It’s a stepped goal, 5 end of q2 10 q3 — stretch 15 q4..

Finally a culture that drives success, if you don’t like the moral, LEAVE that’s right you can’t as you have no marketable SKILLs.

Our group is convinced TC (Mr. Investable Structure) and DG are the same person. White shirt, tan pants, forced personality, and only cares about themselves and terminating employees a race to the bottom.

Multiple teams joke, with our NEW digital engine DG talks about he is able to put it in a vehicle and see himself out of the company. Moral is at an all time low in ESD like others have said. The group feels like an outcast (not the musical group).

Lowest nps scores in the company with the lowest moral of any department. OP things are bad.

DB is merging engineering and product functions under one org by end of Q2 with a move to JS’s tech organization. DG shown the door but no announcement as he did to his employees at the end of January.

Put someone who cares about their employees in control ASAP, he’s ER minus the snakes.
