I wondered about Dirk and possibly it being shove out the door. But he can retire comfortably yet everyday employees, not so much. UHOne sector is about to lay off 40-50 FTE call center employees of all levels at the end of March. Well, either help them find another position or layoff. Sad.

They just laid off eight people in my department on Thursday. I work in Optum customer office on the marketing side. We do analytics, surveys, data science.
Unlikely. It wouldn't be scheduled this far in advance.
MAP updates. 2/15 is when they are dropping the confirmation documents to people leaders. Possibly just wanting to share with the entire team that RRP and Merits a very lean this year.

Layoffs are almost always thursdays and would not be scheduled out this far in advance. Now if you get a last minute invite for a thursday you're most like out the door

I know there is changes in leadership happening soon. There will be a vp retiring in tech and their team will move over to United.
It's Valentine's day. It could also be your team's quarterly meeting - but you should have an idea from past meetings. Our department's is later this week.
