I have heard multiple folks gossiping around that layoff is around the corner. Some folks got laid off in Sam's club yesterday, no one is talking about this, any clue?

The e-commerce team was restructured. With that, people were terminated with the option to apply for other positions within the company.
I don't pay any attention to Sam's Club. I took our divorce seriously.
Layoff's are expected in Indian delivery centers for hiring bunch of craps to support the Walmart business systems.
Walmart will always say transfer, transfer sounds better than layoff.
Last month the Store Nbr 8 innovation/tech team was resolved. Anyone not absorbed into other existing teams was laid off. That's the impact of leadership creating duplicate efforts on different teams.
Sam's club HO layoffs were on a e-commerce support team. Part of a tech/e-commerce restructure.
