In the last twelve months, the company let go of folks who've been with Enbridge for decades and others who've only been here a year. They've shown the door to some of our top performers and even some not-so-great ones. People who thought they were indispensable? Poof, gone. So if you think you're safe, think again.

At any for profit business nobody is safe. It’s easy to search online the companies that had been doing layoffs in the name of cost efficiencies.
A bad manager will throw any of her crew on the layoff train while saving herself.
Integrity & Respect unless they think they can make more money without you. Then it goes out the door.
Remember people .... Integrity & Respect !
VP, EVP,SVP ETC
Imagine the groveling if the shills had to answer the bell!!
It's high time to trim the top! I think we had 88 VPs last time I counted; insane. If you want to cut, start at the top. That would show some leadership for change
Say that to some of our deadweight SCM folks, one of them used to say “I am an employee” so she thinks she won’t get laid off. The most deadweight I had seen are in SCM.
Crazy how they are proud of “moving the needle” to 3.5%
Reading todays email I’d say Africans are safe.
Oh, even the C-Suite isn’t a safe ride. Look at the chaos at the top since GE has taken the reigns back. People who worked at the company for decades have been shown the door or demoted.
Truer words never said.
No one is safe at any company unless you're in the C-Suite. No company cares about you, so why bother caring about them? If they truly want to cut costs, there should be a couple of VPs and such let go as well.
