Anyone have an idea of when the layoffs will occur and what departments will be impacted?

This 100% accurate. They acquire a business, get them onboarded, take their tech, make up bs reasons and discard the people like used tissues. I helped get a team situated as a manager in E&I Spec benefits last year. Within 6 mos of me joining that team / 1 year after that company was purchased, UHC picked apart their processes and tech, slapped their name on the contracts and home-grown apps that company developed and held, then switftly kicked folks out the door. Companies that are being courted by UHC to be purchased, should be VERY suspicious and mindful when signing these agreements.
Our WellMed Call Center for patients is closing down. I got laid off along with others. WellMed is not the same!
ChangeHealthcare people: Your company was an enormous pile of sh-t... What a fu--ing donkey show. Thank goodness Neil was sh-t canned and the rest of the hangers on are taking off now too. I don't know who was laid off before the integration, but they must've been horrible given the low quality of the staff remaining.
there are some reorgs happening already. layoff will be part of it.
WOW! Seems like this is so true.

It happens all the time. Stop worrying about it. RIFs here are like death, you don’t know if you’re next.
Something is/has happened. Give it 90-120 days till the newly acquired Allina IT folks are let go, same as CHC experienced. Sad.

I think something is definitely happening
Waiting to see how Equian (Optum) and Equiclaim (Change Healthcare) merge as both have the same clients and have same products. Lots of redundancy…
The minute De Crescenzo was axed, I knew it was a matter of time for us CHC folks. UHG eats up the competition, picks apart their intellectual property and assets that make money and then lays people off.
Myself and 50 other people were part of a layoff back in November we all came from CHC
We were told on 2/1 that 2/8 would be our last day. Operations AR claims. Due to duplication of the same role. Seems like alot if CHC employees are getting the boot.
