Now that Nielsen has reduced the severance by half, its time we kick our leadership where it hurts. Most of us have invested years of hard work at Nielsen and to have a reduced severance is insulting. Start sending letters to the media immediately. Sheelah Kolhatkar of The New Yorker is a good starting point but don't stop there. Send letters to anyone who will listen.

"severance is just “gratitude of service”, the company doesn’t owe you anything."
Spoken like a true bootlicker.

In your whistleblowing email to the media explain that while layoffs were pretty common at Nielsen before, the scale at which they have been conducted lately is unprecedented: they started when Karthik, an Indian born, became a CEO and advised the board that shipping as many US jobs as possible to India would reduce costs and produce a turnaround for Nielsen. Tell them that we are being asked to train our replacements. The devil's in the detail you know.
Nielsen’s customers and competitors won’t care. They all likely offshore too and give cr-p severance. Labor isn’t respected in America. But hey, they’ll know why quality plummets even more at least.
btw, communicate using a protonmail.com email address to ensure anonymity. This is a common method for leaking info. Your bosses do it all the time.
I'm in ad sales. If you want to remain anonymous, some good places to start are Deadline and Variety (I wouldn't do THR, personally). Paulsen at sportsmediawatch will also keep your identity quiet, and promulgate it across other media sources.

Also tell the media that an Indian CEO is taking your job and giving it to another Indian and this must stop. Write to your rep in Congress as well.
How about sending emails to the MRC and to Nielsen’s competitors?
