Tell Dell

The next Tell Dell will be quite rancorous.

"I used to be gung-ho about doing them and being completely honest. The last 2-3 years have taught me the Tell Dell is meaningless. We had a huge chunk of negative or low numbers and the higher-ups blamed the directors for rubbing off on the team with negativity influencing low scores. Nothing changed. Honestly I dont really care to do them anymore"

I think you mean detractors rather than directors.

Complete waste of time completing it, nothing changes!
Manager question is a different one, it’s about “manager inspires me”
Dell question is would you “reccomend dell”

Tell Dell is a joke! We have been “told” how to answer the NPS question the last couple of years. Negative responses will hit your manager and not anyone above.
Simply do not answer Tell Dell at all.

@1ngj+1qVOgfO1, it's both for manager and the company. Different questions.

I was always under the impression Tell Dell was always against your manager and not Dell. I have seen managers get bad results in Tell Dell and they have been moved to other teams.

I have a great manager so it's unfair against that person. However I do make it my mission to talk about issues in the comments. I'm not risking a great manager for a bad Tell Dell that will just be ignored.

Interesting that the comments had numbers ranging from +7 to +23 and in 30 seconds everything was pushed back to zeros. I literally watched the numbers go down.

Tell Dell performance was removed as a measure in the FY25 strategy cascade. LT will not be penalized for poor performance

Tell Dell is meaningless. Last year my Manager got a -41 and the VP got -29 (didn't even know you could get a negative score) and nothing changed. They are both still useless and will get rated about the same.

I expect that they will get a healthy bonus for having pi---d off the team.

I don't think it will tbh. I answered this year's Tell Dell honestly and the only comments called out were positive ones or comments that were only mildly negative. Tell Dell is a joke. It could be a hot mess, but they will paint a pretty picture like they always do. There'll be some other new employee temperature test next year I'll wager and everyone will be trained up to game the system as usual.

They don't care. Give your honest opinion so it shows.

Vote zeros or one’s whatever’s the lowest score possible. Anything else gets lost in the mix. Drag the that NPS score way down.

Go to town folks. No change will be made otherwise.

I can’t wait. Though leadership is going to give themselves a mulligan snd next year after all the detractors have left Dell or have been WFRd they’ll show whatever improvement as a sign they did the right thing.

Just like any push back on RTO or 100% online selling they sincerely do not care. The objective is to force attrition and lower headcount without paying severance. It’s so obvious it hurts.

They pulled back on Tell Dell comments last year and I think we will see a similar pull back this year. They don't care about comments on there and enough people kiss a-s to somehow maintain some form of satisfactory votes.

If you get the chance, go ham on it.
