We laid off over a thousand managers at store level and added director positions to the division level to instead. Going back to adding management positions outside of stores, while continuing to ask an unreasonable amount of non-productive workload on the leaders who are left.
We have a new CEO, but it's just like before with stores starting off the new fiscal calendar without know what we will be rated on. You would think that we could have one year where people know the metrics and goals they will be reviewed on for the year BEFORE the year starts. Only hearing that we will have a new store scorecard, no mention of what is happening to PTG bonus, moving from the fair and consistent loyalty rating system back to individual goals that have nothing to do with how many opportunities store have.
Laid off all the people so we could fund a EGO / COVID festival in April. We are going to fly all of the Store Managers and field leadership teams and bunch of people from corporate in for meetings, maybe we will finally find out what our goals are for the year. We have a bunch of Covid cases in our state and now we have to go a national meeting.
We really need some new management, it seems like we keep doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome.
I couldn't agree more, @3zsk+1qRcJuOG. This deserved a bump to the top.
