This company is already overstaff. Low productivity, low skill set, lots of politics. Most manager and above resources at offshore have zero technical skill and should be kick out of the company.

Yes many were impacted on Monday April 22, 2024. But all Cognizant is posting is how well profit/business. No warning to employees.

They are 100% actively laying people off. My project alone has had over 1500 layoffs since January. They outsourced our contract to an offshore team laid off over 90% of the onshore team for the project. There was a another round of "outsourced" employees whose last day was yesterday, and another group scheduled for lay offs at the end of April.

Oh they are laying off indirectly from the bench after 5 weeks notice, last 15+ months there were plenty gone and and stilling going out. Leadership happily says or calling that out Employee benefits and initiatives helped them achieve all time low attrition rate. They are day dreaming as always.
