You had to know better than that! Complaining to top leadership that "the organization weigh us down" translates easily in a couple of changes in top level org charts and a few thousands layoff. The equation is x% layoff equals to x% more efficiency at her level. Next time praise how good we are instead and that we would be more productive if we had more people so that can support our Clients better. Be smarter next time: do not complain!
