I was already drowning in work, and now it looks like my workload is about to double. We've lost several team members, and I'm pretty sure the higher-ups will want the rest of us to cover their tasks. It's getting to the point where I'm thinking the ones who got laid off might be the lucky ones.

Some of my worst year-end reviews at MC were the ones where I put in extra hours. No matter how much I automate, this place finds a way to add more process and bureaucracy. I just decided one day they will get their 40 or less and I have faired pretty well. It is still frustrating though to see the company grow the number of employees continuously but groups like mine remain understaffed.
