Got gold watches, a boat for a VP.
Some got a ford that was part of a program by for and resideo that got cancelled and we had some staying on the lots so… we got them.

Sales are great! It’s not easy to be able to sell archaic stuff and make people believe it’s gold! I mean it’s 1000 times better than a crooked used car salesman….

The Rezi sales force is biggest roadblock for selling direct to consumers. They’re clinging to old business models with archaic products and solutions. Should we be upset that the message of their annual junket is shallow and uninspired? Par for the course.

Do some team building exercises.
Hand out a string of awards to the old guard and the up and coming heros who have served the company well, not rocked the boat and delivered diddly squat.
Set out the vision, goals and dreams for the next year.
Close the event with a rally cry and a bunch of team photos.
Then wait for the platitudes to appear on LinkedIn from the chosen few who attended.
Rinse and repeat every year until the business goes bust.
Sounds to me like great thinkers were working very hard.
