With the new GTM towards new customer archetypes, what are your thoughts of how the sales function will be impacted? Will some mid market field sales members be downgraded into lower T grades in the Digital Hub? Will sales specialists for farm archetypes eventually be replaced by the CoE function? How about Industry Account Executives?

Who is at risk. IAE or LOB AE
Sales has been bloated since Mcdermott days. SAP can save some employees here by doing away with the ridiculous Winner’s Circle event.
Of all the Board Areas in SAP, is anyone seriously concerned about how the sales organization will be impacted? Been here for 25 years and can say this is the biggest group of prima donnas ever to get a paycheck from any company in the history of the business world.
Actually, the impact to the sales organization is maybe they will get to pick not just one daily excursion activity while in Hawaii but they will be able to select two, one for themselves and another for their spouse. What a great world it is if you are in the Sales Org of SAP. May I have another bottle of Dom Perigone......

I guess it’s as simple as checking what kind of sales structure someone like Workday has and seeing that being replicated.
