Recently got word that a good amount of Dell Small Business Sales Account Managers are being sent to MB to backfill the Account Managers that were recently laid off.
Those new account managers are being paid less and told they have a 1 Q ramp. If they don’t they will be placed on a PIP and removed from the company.
Can anyone confirm? Has anyone else heard anything about either of these segs?
It is typical Dell fashion. Especially since the East coast management take over.
PIP is a very expensive and time consuming way to get people removed from the company so it's not what it's primarily used for.

I heard Enterprise and Commercial might do the same. Merge
SB to MB backfill part is correct. Although I don't have details on the pay or any PIP discussions. There's a team that is working on up leveling these reps.
