Given the current situation and uncertainty in the industry, exploring opportunities elsewhere might be a smart move. There are several software companies in Toronto https://www.cleveroad.com/blog/software-development-companies-in-toronto/ that are still hiring and have a strong reputation in the tech space. It could be worth looking into, especially if relocation or remote work is an option.

I was really surprised to learn just how many big software companies in toronto there are. It makes me wonder—does the city really make it easier to start and grow a tech business, or is it more about having access to a large pool of highly skilled talent? It’s fascinating to see how vibrant the tech scene is, even though these layoffs highlight how challenging the current economic conditions can be. Hopefully, these companies can adapt and thrive again soon.
