Multiple important US people in Tech let go today. Some of them were with Nielsen for more than a decade, whoosh gone just like that. No body is safe. Even if you get lucky and nothing happens to you, the "merit increase" later this year will not compensate how much more difficult your job is gonna get with personnel being axed.
