Payroll issues

So payroll sc--wed up today and doubled everyone’s medical / vision / dental premium for this month. It’s ok though, they sent an email out as soon as they realized to all affected employees to let them know hat it happened and how it’s going to be fixed. Oh wait, I dreamt that bit up - they didn’t. They are instead remaining totally quiet about it while their help desk people process thousands of calls and tickets from its employees asking what is goin on.

I guess rectifying payroll sc--wups does not bring value to the company so they don’t care.

If it was the other way round, they’d be pretty fast to claw that money back!!

Still missing payroll check from January 29th. Is there another way to contact payroll other than via email? I suspect they are swamped with requests right now.

I wonder how many people did not get paid? I know of 3 employees including myself that did not get paid. Ticket submitted with no response as of 2/6.

Getting the idea that Broadcom has weak internal controls. The accounting needs to be watched closely. How accurate are their numbers, really?

Still no word from HR on how they plan to fix this issue. This is proof of how much they care about their employees, we’re considered a necessary evil.

“We are aware of issues with some paychecks not being generated relating to the rescinding of a prior termination date, and are working with HR & ADP to resolve as soon as possible.

We are aware of issues with medical, dental and vision premiums, and are currently addressing this with ADP to resolve. There is not an estimated time for resolution currently.”

Wow, some people did not get paid at all!!!??? Broadcom really is totally incompetent. They paint this picture of being some kind of super optimized revenue generator, but all they are is a back-ally shady corporation. Customers need to be aware is this.

The bottom line is simply this…
Broadcom doesn’t give a flying flick about you. You are just a mindless drone in the service of the evil Dark Lord. All those RSUs you’re waiting on? Watch them melt away like freshly pi$$ed on snow the moment you get close.

Grabbed my 20 weeks of severance and a big a$$ bonus check and moved on. My recommendation is you do the same, but hey - whatever gets you through.

Broadcom views employees as the enemy so they only respond when legally required.

Broadcom has limited resources to support employees. This response doesn't surprise me. It's yet another reason why high-performance VMware employee talent is exiting this train wreck of a company. What else have they failed to report to employees?

Check your RSU awards and you'll discover numerous unresolved issues. Enough said.

Exactly. They've known about this for many hours now and not a single communication. Found out from a coworker this morning because when it was VMware, Payroll was competent and I didn't have to check my pay stub every pay period for mistakes.
