Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

They can lay me off

I don't hate it here, but I've been at Enbridge long enough to be entitled to a decent severance payment, and in all honesty, I'm ready to move on. This is not the same company it was ten years ago and while I will miss some things - like my coworkers - most of it I will be happy to let go of.

I feel the same, been here for 12 years, started experiencing the toxicity after my my mat leave, seeing people put int charge of my dept with no credentials or background to be in that role, have applied several jobs internally and nothing… would like to leave on my own terms but there is blatant favouritism, cliques, nepotism in this organization that’s hard not let it get to you. Maybe this is the start of something new.

Enbridge became toxic when AM was promoted to the top job. It’s still toxic.

It will not be as low as one week per year of service. I've known people let go in every tranche since 2015, and the offers have never been lowballed.

There’s your first mistake of thinking your entitled. I wonder if you’ll feel the same way when they tell you you’ll get one weeks pay for every year of service?
