Hello,
Do we know how many people got fired in the US? Your WARN act is too hard to compile
Also, we see that Ireland people are afraid of the amount of work because the teams are shrinking. Do you have this issue in US already?
Asking so I can make the right choice when the moment comes…

Agreed. In the US here. I rejected the offer because work life balance means so much more to me. My years at VMware and living below my means have helped me save a good chunk, so when faced between making more with no work life balance vs making a decent living with work life balance, the choice was a no brainer for me. You only get to live once! I understand some people need the money so to some it will make more sense to work for BC for a bit.
Utter bollocks
Irish people are not “afraid of the amount of work.” Most in Ireland have been there long enough to take the large severance payoff and move to a better company with better working conditions and better job security. There comes a point when you are payed so much that the extra money doesn’t serve a purpose other then to go in the pile, work life balance and piece of mind has high value. I am sure others would love to be in our position.
They are not afraid of the amount if work!
