Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

Is it true that mostly corporate jobs are being cut?

Anybody else affected? Do we expect layoffs to continue beyond these 145?

I feel that Walgreens wants to sell off to Amazon.

Cutting costs? Someone needs to tell them that paying Roz $375k to consult for nothing, and paying $12 million dollars to buy back a building that we owned months before is NOT how you cut costs.

Layoffs will occur every quarter until business results improve.

Is a company in decline. The new leadership will get the numbers going well in a couple of years - mainly by cutting costs. After the impending recession, sometime in 2025,26 or 27 (with the boards blessing) they'll sell the company to the highest bidder - CVS, Amazon, Walmart, or maybe even JetBlue
