Did anyone get their long term loyalty fully covered under the package? I was offered 20 of 70 only
Mastercard total number of employees in 2023 was 33,400, a 11.71% increase from 2022. Mastercard total number of employees in 2022 was 29,900, a 24.58% increase from 2021. Mastercard total number of employees in 2021 was 24,000, a 14.29% increase from 2020. For comparison, in 2008 total number of employees was 4000.
I got done a couple of months back . After 10 years build a profitable business from scratch. No relevant disclosure on review / decision process and no subsequent disclosures despite legals requests .so much for the ‘decency quotient’ 😩

Is it easier to fire someone in person? Seems convenient this happens right after they get serious about RTO.
With all the CEOs organizing on this RTO push, maybe it’s time we organize. For the love of god at least negotiate back some cube walls.

I got laid off yesterday too, and from what I have been told from colleagues internally, they are looking to lay off 10% of the workforce.
HR wouldnt tell me anything - apparently not even my manager knew. This is right after they posted the best "performance" the company and the vertical I'm a part of has had ever, and meeting all of our stretch goals.
It's very unfortunate! May god give them the strength to overcome this situation!! :(

Rah-rah email to entire company thanking everyone for their hard work and contributions the morning of earnings call. Record earnings followed by massive layoffs within 24 hours. Affected individuals locked out of system right after being notified by HR.

Regarding the TPM post, actually one of the people I know let go was over TPMs.

Several people are laid off in MasterCard Open Banking / SLC office. Confirmed!
I observed few of technical folks getting laid of , while folks in management and TPMs who literally do not contribute anything other than licking their bosses as--s ,remain resilient and head high. It is just a bureaucratic organization with no respect of technology and folks working in tech space . There are folks in management who are astonishingly foolish and shrewd

It is not a rumor. They just laid off me abruptly today. This impacts many teams but HR refused to disclose the exact number.
