Not to mention it would be inconsiderate towards the privacy of those who would be impacted. Would you like to see your name forever pinned somewhere on net next to a word sacked for everyone to see? I personally wouldn’t mind, but some might. Not the best conversation starter with a potential girlfriend who just googled you.

Indoctrinated fear: an essential tool of social control.

No one will post the list. It is known by a small number of people, and if anyone posts here, it is so easy to trace it back to who did that and it is a valid and legal course for constructive dismissal.

So if you were never anything higher than “successful” or not marked as an impact loss on the 9box- I’d think those people are endangered.

Yeah sure it’s all perspective but knowing if your name is on the list would surely help most people prepare so why wouldn’t we help people if we could?

the meeting supers/AMs had with directors seems to indicate that directors definitely know specifics with regards to planned severance, and during this meeting directors did not say "I don't know", but rather "I cannot say". another thing said to our particular group is that "this will affect everyone's areas", but no specifics into what groups/roles they were looking at.

My working theory:

Directors have list of top candidates for removal prepared for them by higher ups based on some types of determining criteria. The fact Greg's email mentioned 650 people specifically tells me that the decisions will be made more on role/function/performance rather than salary (they will renegotiate this later on with the survivors under the pretense of "be glad you still have a job"). some supervisor area responsibilities may be consolidated if the work volume could justify it. Planner/scheduler/maintenance coord spots may be under the microscope too if the big wigs feel confident enough that field employees can be trained to schedule their own work without a dedicated position existing. I could see them leaving one of these positions around with the goal of having them train the techs and supers, but any area with more than 1 p&s is no longer gonna be the case.

No names can be shared on this website even if you know them, but can you tell us the plans for reorg and the departments that are mainly affected by the cut?

In challenging times like these, it's crucial to support one another. If you are able to share the list, by all means, if this list is accurate, (and you are not the ‘only’ holder of this list which minimizes the ability to identify you) in a world of anonymity, please consider helping out the masses. 🙏
