Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

I was laid off in the last round (August) and very bummed about it. From just what I’ve heard so far about this round, it’s very shocking. I don’t understand the point of starting new initiatives, having people exceed the expectations of those initiatives and give everything they’ve got, only to then let people go… In a few months when people complain that nothing is working how it should be they will then start a new initiative and go through the same process. I guess maybe it’s a lack of communication with and among leadership, but it’s definitely discouraging. They will definitely feel the blow from this one in the near future
