Is there any word about what’s going on in Chicago?

FYI, I’m not Bulldozer guy, so take this with a grain of salt.
End of lines such as Chicago, Houston & Roseville should be fine. There won’t be many if any reduction of staff on loco side at these locations. Car side will see cuts at all locations,
less traffic means less cars which equals less people needed to inspect and repair. For some reason they don’t like Carmen, at any locations.
The big reductions will continue to be the west coast. I’d expect Commerce, Colton and North Platte to see reduction's due to decrease of trains to the LA Basin.
I’d also look at what JV did before he left the first time. In the past, he nearly closed Ft. Worth, I’d expect reduced work forces there and in the PNW. Pine Bluff & Denver will all but close. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Jenks doing a soft shutdown for a few months until the dust clears. No need for rebuilds when there are so many engines in storage.
Not trying to scare anyone, this is just my 2¢’s, take it for what it’s worth.
I guess there is not…
