Job descriptions

Has anyone read some of the job descriptions? They want all of these qualifications that they are never going to find in India or Mexico.

Anything that is client facing or customer service based is going to fail miserably because of the language barrier. It's hard enough for internal stakeholders on calls to understand our off-shore team members. If households or clients have to interpret them, they will leave in droves!

Gracenote Customer Care US is only hiring in India going forward. Sooner or later there will no longer be Customer Care in the US

Can you imagine if the Client Reps get off-shored? Networks are already looking for reasons to leave, a non-English speaking rep will send clients over the edge.

That's what I'm thinking, that they don't care. My area is listed as hiring in India and we do a LOT of communication with clients.

They don't care about the company failing. They are just going to su-k all the equity out, hence the out sourcing, and let it die.
