The only reason why I chose to stay instead of quit is that I don't want to give the leadership the satisfaction of knowing they managed to get rid of one more employee without having to pay severance. That's literally the only reason. I'm still here because of spite. If I don't get laid off in this round, I'll leave. But not before it's all over.
