Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Revised offers

We hearing some folks who have declined offers have been given revised offers, often more RSUs. Can anyone share what the uplift has been and whether it's been enough to make you change your mind?
I thought renegotiation was not a thing but it seems like it might be ...

Considering what severance looks like in Ireland, both the initial and follow-up offers were a joke.

RSUs are no good unless they vest.
HT will do layoffs and you will not see any of it.

Goes to show - if people move as a group, BC will negotiate. Looks like they fold.

HT has discovered that VMware is not exactly like the CA and Symantec situation.

His prior assumptions have already resulted in rejections from employees, customers, and now business partners who are questioning the Broadcom Software business model.

AVGO's deferred RSUs are not an incentive to stay. I don't trust them. Neither should you.

Yes, they seem to throw RSUs at them, especially in Ireland where in some teams more than half of the permanent offers got rejected.
