Hello everyone I was terminated for my attendance 15 months ago. I didn’t really lay off much in my first 18 years but I had some problems for a bit due to mental health. I laid off a few times and got my first investigation. I didn’t sign any of the the paperwork that was presented agreeing with the attendance policy which is crazy by the way. So fast forward and I had my second attendance violation 15 months ago and again due to life and after working over 200 hrs per month I was fired. Well I just received my reinstatement and my back pay I’m back to work and now I’m at 0 for my attendance but after learning about the new attendance policy I’m not going to last long. This is crazy I guess I’m going to get fired again because this is impossible to to abide by this new policy and have somewhat of a life. I’m not sure that I’m aware of anyone in such a safety sensitive position that is required to put in as many hours as we are. Anyways I got paid for not working for 15 months and I like it. I think I’m going to give this RR stuff up and move on.. good luck guys. I’ve come to the conclusion that you have to be as mentally ill as your handlers to continue this line of work.

Nobody gets fired for attendance working 200 hours a month.
You made all that up for what?
OP I salute you quitting, if more employees would quit the carrier would have to improve working conditions to retain employees.
Wouldn't fmla cover mental health issues?
Either way good luck at your new job, but most places need 40 hours out of their worker bees
