Even if HR tracks you down for commenting on this board, you still have a federally protected right to discuss work conditions as long as you’re being honest and not divulging proprietary information or engaging in insider training. Do your own research and learn your rights.

While I personally would never comment on this board on a work device, I will say that HR has WAY more important things to do than to track down commenters, and few people to do it with.
To whoever said it above, this right extends to work as well. Probably some grey areas if you aren’t doing your job so you can post here and you’re using the company’s stuff to do it, but it’s 2024 so why wouldn’t you use your own phone or laptop??? OP’s point is probably to learn your rights and know what’s protected and not. Such a weirdly aggressive response to someone who’s encouraging people to protect themselves at work, I bet you’re a joy to work with.
To the other person commenting about the verbally abusive coworker, doesn’t surprise me at all and sorry you went through that. Maybe talk to an employment lawyer if it seems worth it to you, but it can be hard to prove in a large layoff. Even then though, you could still make a case that they allowed a hostile work environment. A lot of times a lawyer will consult with you for free or low cost for like an hour before moving forward.
Pretty sure me filing a complaint against my peer who verbally attacked and threatened me and others on multiple occasions got me my layoff. Even with screenshots which I was smart enough to save on a personal drive after their behavior was completely excused. This company will retaliate against you at all cost
Wait ... how would HR track you down for commenting on this board? Oh you mean using corporate equipment and networks? Well ... then you'd be at fault for "unauthorized use of company resources". Bummer ....
