Are We Just Getting Used to Being Treated Badly?

To poster 1umn+1qPEpHGu, what makes you assume we haven’t spoken to our leaders? If you are so courageous, why don’t you divulge your personal experience with speaking up and standing up for yourself….. yeah thought so.
I don't think there is much of Change's leadership remaining. Some in the IT side, but even a lot of them got out while they could.
I'd leave if I could get another job.
Why don’t y’all stand tf up for yourself. You want things to change then be an adult and voice your concerns. I’d rather die standing up for myself and others working then being on my knees like a “yes man” coward. Sorry not sorry.
all leadership is under tremendous pressure to make lots of money. Of course you are gonna feel that pressure and if you can't take it, leave. Thats fine.
I suggest everyone start saving as much money as you can. your pain tolerance will go up because you know you can leave at anytime and be just fine.
Optum/UHG acquired several companies. Most recently Change. Do you all think it’s all Optum/UHG that’s the problem or could it be the leadership from the companies they acquired? Many of the leadership from those companies are here at Optum/UHG. I am only asking for a better understanding and clarity. Everything said is scary and powerful and true, but for which company or entity?
Speak for yourself, if you want some REAL EVIDENCE of positive change. You gotta get a democracy of people behind you to do it. That’s the only way stuff will change. I’m talking about an entire business segment just up and walking out until needs are met.
It was so bad that I left and didn’t even have another job lined up. The culture and the environment was so toxic I’m still in detox from the whole Optum experience. The crazy thing is they are a behavioral health provider but the toxicity of the environment makes it unbearable with consent BS staff meeting and managers that are just full of sh-t! Optum damaged me and I’ve literally got to get myself together before I can go on to another employer! It worse then any relationship breakup I’ve ever been through. Optum should be ashamed of themselves! Rather than changing the status quo in the industry they just act like everything is A ok knowing full well it’s a complete sh-t show. All the former employees need to come together and write a memoir so to speak of what really lies behind the whole Optum experience.
The beatings will continue until morale improves.
I believe that the WFH aspect of the job keeps people there. I just resigned after many years and it took me a long time to let it go.
