GL 30 here- no merit and our RRP pool was impacted too. I had the same performance score as last year and got 30% less RRP.

Witty sharing the "RRP pool is a little lower than it was last year" in Feb. 8 fireside chat. I guess $22.4 billion in 2023 profit isn't enough for UnitedHealth Group? This country is going to he-l in a handbasket.
"Yeah, sure. So we're coming up to the RRP communication, I guess next week, around the 15th I think things start to happen across the organization, and also we're also right in the midst of the process of goal setting and all of the rest of it.
So a few things I might just say. So first off, on RRP, as I said earlier, last year was a good year but it wasn't a spectacular year. So the RRP pool is a little lower than it was last year. That's normal in the sense of it being variable, we see these things go up and down.
We're making sure that we are prioritizing lower grades in the organization over higher grades so we're being very active about trying to make sure that we're allocating dollars into the right parts of the organization."
Most areas are 2.35 % with RRP around 56%, BUT leaders were also made to hold money back so many people will not be getting near that. I'm sure the executives will receive full compensation though.
You're a 29 with no reports?? That is not good. Look past the RRPs and Merits.
I was told that 29 with 3 or less reports are going to be looked at in 2024 to determine their need. That....would make me nervous as a 29 with no reports.
I’m a 29 and my leader is a 30. He told me he got me as much merit as he could given the funding pool. I am also getting RRP but less than last year. 30+ no merits but still get RRP. I suspect their RRPs will offset the lack of merit increases. This way it appears to look like the leaders are sacrificing because they can act like martyrs.
Grade 30 and above no merit. Roughly have of RRP. 29 and below merit roughly around 2% and RRP again roughly 55%
@2jvm+1qP4U98o I'm a people leader and my manager told me GL30 and up is not getting merit bumps. Have not heard no RRP. And I was under the impression 29 and below IS eligible for merit... but maybe different LOBs or business segments.. I don't know anymore.
Grade 29 and up are not getting bonuses or raises.
In our area of UHC it’s 2.35%. 2022 was 2%, 2023 was 3%.
Why not ask your manager? The pool varies by department and is based on both individual and departmental performance.
