Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

New Business, New Logos, New Customers, New Prospects????

How many of the "new" items resulted from SKO activities?

Aside from "sunshine & happiness" from the ELT, did they have anything of substance to say?

I'm guessing the answers to these questions are "zero" and "no"

I don’t care if management “cares” about me. I would be happy if they just managed the company successfully and let us do our jobs. They have sc--wed everything up so bad that I doubt we have five years left.

ELT is ridiculous... hundreds of family affected and there they are sipping the champaign... fire people during holidays on this market is evil... specially those getting great quarterly reviews and assurance there were no risks of lay-offs... sad ending.

New Logo…TD ELT haven’t got a scooby doo about how to win net new logo. They aren’t geared up to winning it. I know a former colleague who was there 3 plus years did nothing and was paid MBO for all the time they were there. ELT will sail into the sunset if someone comes in to take TD over just for the install base that’s decreasing like their Gartner rating. SKO was very sombre…….

There are a lot of customers who need FEDRAMP certification in place and we are nowhere near to that yet …..so TD will likely loose all those legacy customers whose business is dependent on the certification for RFP purposes.

No new logos in 23. We are too busy fending off the competition from eating our existing business.

2024 will be more of the same. No growth, no new logos and erosion of existing accounts as we try every trick in the book to keep them from leaving.

There's no penalty for DEI hires or amateurs training on the job.
All workers are theirs to experiment on.

Drinking champagne and dancing while the ship is sinking. Shareholders should be disgusted not to mention the dozens of strategic roles that could have been saved by not having SKO this year. No shame in not having a corporate meeting and instead pushing teams to get together in the field more often and spend time with customers.

It's said with hundreds of employees laid off in 2023, ELT sits there enjoying all the $$ they made by selling stocks while knowing the company is dead.

Lost the Department of Just***. A thirty five year dedicated customer. We are not getting any new customers. Only loosing high paying long term customers. What is wrong with this picture.
