Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

Do it to them before they do it to you

Like the title says...do it to them before they do it to you. A once fine institution has become plagued with incompetent executive leadership. Threatening layoffs and cost cuttings while they take the private jet all over the footprint. If you aren't already looking, start now. I cant imagine anyone wanting to stay after the last 6+ months of this circus. Find a better or similar job and enjoy a better work environment far removed from BR.

Since the merger, the management and the "Brand" of two successful banks has gone to he-l In a hand basket. Managers are MIA more than leading their teams. Incomptent employees are running things and covering for each other if included in the click. If not, you are sc--wed.

This is d-mb, because this happens everywhere. Unless someone is giving you a big raise to switch employment just stay right where you are

I left at the end of October and couldn’t agree with this more . I feel sorry for my friends that are still there . It was in a constant state of stress , miserable when I had to be in the office due to low morale and sense of misery in the air. It is better on the other side

This makes a lot of sense. But…I’m just about to earn my AVP. I can’t leave now.

Executive leaders claim their “listening sessions” are meant for team engagement, but in reality, they seem more like intimidation tactics. It’s hard to take seriously their approach to running a $535 billion bank—it feels like a circus.
