Chris & Venkat: if you've been making all your decisions in good faith based on the information you've been given from whichever of your reports you listen to, you might want consider some skip meetings way down past your executives - 'cause unless the new extra layers of executives do it for you, find out what's really going on, and let you know so that you can improve things for the long term, you've probably just added an extra R80 layer of insulation between you and what's really going on with the organization you've been entrusted to run (assuming not into the ground). And I think I can speak for most saying that an episode of "Undercover Boss" staring either of you two wearing fake facial hair and trying to disguise your voices would also be acceptable.
Thanks for your care and concern.

glad to see the (eventual but short term) cost savings from the current bloodbath being put to good use.
