This is going to really depend on what org you work for and your title. I would suggest visiting Glassdoor and levels website for this information as it will be more accurate.
In short, moving laterally in a company will almost always put you at a disadvantage. If you truly want to move up in pay you need to move out of your company. I hate that you have to do that but in this day and age it’s the only way to get a decent raise.
You will see that a competitor will offer at least a 20% raise depending on your skills and the company you apply for. Even startups offer better pay and free UHC Platinum Health plans that have $200 deductibles and they cover premiums. If you’re technical and really good at your job (not just Optum good) tech companies pay much more.
Here’s the down side, hopping too often can look bad on a resume so I suggest at least 2 years of service. Another thing is, Optum is the devil you know, there is no guarantee that your next company will be any better (but don’t let this stop you).
