Could anyone share some RSU grants they were offered, what position (Sales or BU) and what level they were at VMW (P1,P2... etc.)

Workers with more tenure got more RSUs. Compare P6 years of service just not pay grade.
P6 sales ops, US, 600 RSUs
P6 engineering in VCF, US, 1100 RSUs
P5, 468 Australia
P5 - 250 RSUs seems fairly average, did you lose any of your base?

It's based on pay grades and years of service. More RSUs for tenure.
Why is there so much discrepancy between countries but even within countries...so a one P5 gets 100 the other 250 RSUs similar salary and same country....not sure that makes sense??
Talking off the record with other peers (at both higher and lower ranks than myself), for those who were offered RSUs, the lowest number I have heard was 75 RSUs and the highest number I have heard is 1,100 RSUs. The most common numbers I have heard have been between 210 and 320.

just make it simple. staff 1 and below, all losers.
many are doing 20% more or 20% less than what you do, but they are paid 5x or 10x more than what you get.
that is all you need to know.
