Why is new salary not effective yet? HR email from yesterday with new comp details said it’s effective as of Jan 1, 2024. But when I check paystubs/my comp today (Jan 25, 2024) it still reflects old salary which was lower

My manager said bonus will be paid out 01/31.
Raise and retro pay should show on 02/02 check.
Is that also when they pay out bonuses? I started jan 2023.
How long have you worked here. This is correct. Every year it is effective Jan 1st but January is backdated in February pay
