When you turn a company into an accounting firm instead of a engineering company this is the result. So much for the lean scene.

And so castles made of sand fall in the sea eventually.

Failing companies like Boeing are betting on a advancement of the war in Europe to bring profits to them. It's all about money. Military or civilian lives do not matter to the elite. Pray for America!

Boeing BoD is as corrupt, impotent and incompetent as the leadership. CEO came from BoD. The force of the dark side is strong.

Yep, should have been much more stronger action taken much sooner than now...like in 2007...

This is an accurate article by a highly respected aerospace analyst. But he should have written it after the first profit over lives event.

All true. Boeing hasn't had the depth of knowledge or experience to do any significant aerospace engineering or manufacturing work in-house for decades. Boeing has essentially become an empty shell company that can't even manage quality control of products from its lowest cost suppliers.

...except the recent door plug incident was done entirely by Boeing employees in Renton WA...

Boeing is still reaping the rewards of their decision on the 787 program to outsource everything they could and then did the same thing on the 737 max.

They don’t even want to do incoming part inspections anymore. Just beat up the suppliers when the mechanic can’t make their parts work.

Most of these problems with Boeing aircraft Are a direct result of outsourcing the detail design and fabrication of the majority of the parts. They outsourced everything to the lowest bidder and then act surprise when the quality is not there.

It’s amazing that the board Directors does not address this universal criticism of the leadership at Boeing. Are they’re being paid under the table? How do you allow such incompetent leadership for so many years?

Boeing is following the MD model...no new airplane development expense...deliver legacy airplanes as long as possible...liquidate assets...and hope some fool will buy you...

The Boeing stock hawks are saying buy Boeing stock on the recent temporary dip...

Me thinks this smoke and mirrors house of cards may actually finally be on the verge of collapse.
