Thread regarding Enbridge Inc. layoffs

Anyone know the going rate for severance?

I’m curious as to what people have heard about going rates for severance? Drive bys are starting to happen already.

It was 4.8. Minimum 16 weeks to a maximum of 104. I still have the statement. It won't be less than a voluntary offer.

the vdo did not pay out that well.. it was 4.5w/yr if i recall correctly and layoffs will not be as generous. You likely had less than 5yrs service as i believe it was minimum 25weeks

  1. 8 weeks, not 8. I'm not dreaming. That's what they offered with VWO

  1. 8 weeks per year of service up to a maximum of 104 weeks, plus 2 years prorated STIP and pension and benefits. If you have 20 plus years you can do pretty well.
