Thread regarding Teradata Corp. layoffs

Stuck in DC, wanting out

I'm in my hotel room after a terrible day here at SKO in DC. I can't take the lies and rubbish they feed us.

  • No one wants to talk about the ghost in the room which is a massive decline in our business.
  • No one wants to talk about why management has got rid of some of the best talent we had in the company.
  • No one wants to talk about the fall out of the Gartner magic quadrant
  • No one wants to talk about how bad our product is
  • Lack of strategy, direction

I've been here long enough to feel that there has certainly been a demise in this company despite what the ELT were saying when they got up on stage and carry on.

This is all lies that upper management is feeding us.

Yeah worst SKO since the Seville debacle. The sessions were junk, the product updates were dismal and you can tell a lot of the Product managers have one foot out the door.

The worst SKO ever. Felt like an episode of The Walking Dead. It must have been super hard for the presenters to pretend like they were telling the truth. So much BS. I need a get out of jail free card this year.....I can not waste any more time here.
