5G is a complete bust.
Jan 31st is the earning call. We can all join and smell it. That should give us some indication.
Maybe they should have added this question to the recent survey:

@nwm tech is volatile, comes with the territory. I’ve been laid off 3x prior and have been at the Q for 5+ years. If I get canned then on to the next but things are looking ok right now…
No breakthrough applications have emerged for 5G; most functionalities are comparable to those on 4G. While Q may have excelled in 5G modems, the absence of significant monetization for this has led to a challenging transition. The fact is Q bet on the “wrong horse”. The company is contracting now and undergoing geographical shift to India. More Layoffs are inevitable in US the only unknown is how soon.
