@nwm tech is volatile, comes with the territory. I’ve been laid off 3x prior and have been at the Q for 5+ years. If I get canned then on to the next but things are looking ok right now…

No breakthrough applications have emerged for 5G; most functionalities are comparable to those on 4G. While Q may have excelled in 5G modems, the absence of significant monetization for this has led to a challenging transition. The fact is Q bet on the “wrong horse”. The company is contracting now and undergoing geographical shift to India. More Layoffs are inevitable in US the only unknown is how soon.
