Even the few remaining airlines overly bloated with undesirable Boeing airplanes that would never consider buying anything but Boeing airplanes are now looking at non-Boeing airplane options:

Their leadership is Boeing leadership... Boeing, United and Alaska have had a shared leadership team in bed together (literally) for years. Boeing and United were once the same company for years until broken up by the government for monopoly reasons. So yeah...equally incompetent and corrupt.
No one wants to buy the .737. They are Forced to because of the huge backlog Airbus has, and because Boeing is deeply discounting them.
Surprised it took this long. Their leadership must be as incompetent as Boeing leadership.
