Citi layoffs

Going forward, every month someone will make a post of “this month the big layoff starts”

No need to comment. I’m not looking for any reactions. Just asking that we should all assume that ‘yes, we can assume that layoffs can happen at any month going forward until 2026’.

Feb its happening…..March is the month….April its on……etc….All useless.

If you are going to make such a post, be more detailed.
Ex: Feb its taking place for group ABC in EMEA

This is more of a heads up than “Feb it’s happening”.

I think it’s also part of the strategy from the firm, spread rumors among the layers to cause as much chaos as possible.

Exactly but I'm getting a suspicion some of these are trolls, people that have already been laid off and bitter and want to scaremonger, or some insider that is trying to get people to quit so that they pay less severance.
