Dear ppl, too much paranoia... and layoffs as usual ... why drama and making story like this ?
Imagine many of us today were on the calls
I'm seeing no "out of office" messages in North America. Those that do REAL work only impact themselves when they're out sick.
"Potatoes and eggs are banned in WDF canteen during all hands" - Says it all
Newtown square parking lot is just about empty today and building as well.
quite sure that if local mgmt in Prague (and many other places) can find some way to bypass this nonsense without senior mgmt finding out or by misreporting attendance data, they absolutely will.
We might not have a strong union but so many people ready to walk because of salaries not keeping up with inflation, plenty of opportunities elsewhere and now this. Housing costs in this city are extremely high vs low wages, either salaries need a +30 pct adjustment since start of the war to cover cumulative inflation, or many o us have no choice but to quit our job.
Plenty of alternatives, we're not scared to walk away.
MS Teams message from colleagues in Hudsen yards (NY USA)
"extra security here today"
We all need to follow the board direction. Asking too many questions put doubts in our
objectives. The board is well qualified to know what is best.
just sent a deck for some colleagues to review.... got 3 automatic responses indicating
" I am ill today, please expect delays"
It's happening now
