I will never understand over hiring and poor budgeting that runs rampant at Lowes. They hired and sponsored every offshore person they could find during covid and way overspent to move them to the Charlotte. American company is such a joke smh. Prayers up for all affected 🙏

What changes for the store does anyone know? I've heard rumors of 3rd party flatbeds , specialists going away , back end clerks going away but nothing else .
What a mess within Tech! So sad Lowe’s builds a new office in South End of Charlotte, moves people across the country to fill the office and then lays them off not even two years later. CEOs should be fired for this type of poor planning. Lowe’s is 100% an INDIA FIRST, AMERICA LAST company. You won’t see this on the news likely because they strategically stayed under the 500 people that would require a WARN act notification in NC. They will pause for 90 Days and then do another round from what I’ve been told.

My mom worked as a manager in the IT department at Lowe’s hardware corporate office Mooresville and she went into work this morning February 21, 2024 and was laid off after being with the company almost 20 years and over the last two or three years she’s been training new people from India And actually had to go over to India and get the new IT center up and going and train people over in India And she told me they laid off the whole entire IT department, and shifting everything overseas to India
Lack of direction and purpose. We are seeing this in a lot of companies. Covid is just an excuse for poor management.
