Welcome to capitalism dear angry friend
I'm not disputing that. I'm saying that VMware always said they held to these high ideals but really they didn't. They would scold us for not celebrating a man in a dress, while casually telling me to take over a Middle Eastern customer because they refused to work with a female rep.
Broadcom are ash0les, but they are at least honest.

Now that you have discovered the truth you are granted absolutely nothing but wisdom
I find it ironic in the extreme that VMware, a Silicon Valley company that claimed to care about stuff like g-y rights and equity and all that, didn't actually care about any of that stuff when it came to the abhorrent beliefs of our Middle Eastern customers. They just took their money and downplayed it in those countries.
But Broadcom, who never even pretended to be anything other than greedy, is shutting down an office that was always problematic from a DEI perspective.
Broadcom through their na--d greed did more to advance rainbow rights than VMware ever did.
Broadcom software doesn't need any office locations where there are limited top-tier companies that remain as customers.
Most of the smaller VMware office locations will close.
Cairo will be gone, soon
