The comment about keeping long term employees is so wrong!! I was laid off last year, had over 30 years experience and had received a good review, bonus and salary increase two months earlier… and they kept multiple employees with less than 5 years experience, so there is no logic, so sorry to say

There are employees that have been at Citi at 30 years that are either the best mentors or the worst people you'll ever meet. They should be keeping people based on results and feedback from colleagues below them. This would remove so many incompetent and nepotism-driven managers.
